How old do I need to be to rent an e-scooter or e-bike?
The minimum age for riding or renting an e-scooter or e-bike in Cyprus is 14 years. (Decree n° 2023-848 of 31/08/2023).
For hiring the Super 73 model, we request you to be a minimum of 18 years old an for Townie go 16 years old.
Do I need a driving license to ride an e-bike or e-scooter?
You do not need a driving license to ride an e-bike or e-scooter in Cyprus.
However, you must have a valid document that proves your identity, such as a passport or a driving license, to rent them.
For minors between 14 and 18 years old, a parent or guardian must sign the rental contract on their behalf.
How long can I rent a e-bike, e-scooter or bicycle?
- E-Scooters :
- Minimum rental time : 1 hour
- Rentals of 24 hours or more come with a charger.
- E-Bikes :
- Minimum rental time : Half-day package (up to 3 hours)
- Rentals of 24 hours or more come with a charger.
- Bicycles :
- Minimum rental time : Half-day package (up to 3 hours)
Do I need to pay a deposit ?
Even though we operate on a principle of trust with our customers, we may request a deposit for certain specific products.
Can you deliver my e-scooter, e-bike to my hotel?
Absolutely! Beachriders will deliver & collect your e-scooter, e-Bike directly from your hotel, villa, accommodation, or airport.
Delivery & pick-up areas include Larnaca, Livadia, Oroklini, Pyla, Meneou, Kiti, Mazotos, Pervolia, Aradippou.
Free delivery for rentals of 50 EUR or more.
We can also deliver to the regions of Ayia Napa, Protaras, Nicosia, and Limassol (prices upon request)
